Active Agers Guided Walk

The next Active Agers will take place on March 28th - meeting at The Local Inn in Tiermaclane @ 11.00am (From Ennis, take the Kildysart Road/R473 - continue on this road for approx. 7km and the Local Inn will be on your left).  It is a 7km looped easy to moderate walk on mostly local roads but there is a short period on the R473 so we recommend a hi-vis vest be worn. Active Agers Guided Walk – Quin

This is an easy flat route of circa 10.5km starting from Quin Community Hall on Thursday 30th May at 11.00am. The route has scenic views of the Twelve o'clock hills, Slieve Bearnagh and Cratloe hills. There are also some historic sites on the route. Clare Walks Ramblers Guided Walk

We are walking the new Clootabonniv Bog loop in Connolly on the 13th of June at 7.30pm. This bog walk was developed by Connolly Tidy Village and is now a Looped Walk on the Mid Clare Way. This is a beautiful 5.5km easy to moderate loop starting from Carney's pub,  just outside Connolly village. This is a moderately difficult walk of 8km starting in Ballinruan.It takes in some breathtaking views across to the Burren and over several lakes on quiet roads.This is a walk for over 50's but all are welcome.Suitable walking shoes and clothing for conditions are advised.Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times.
