Active Agers Guided Walk – Quin

This is an easy flat route of circa 10.5km starting from Quin Community Hall on Thursday 30th May at 11.00am. The route has scenic views of the Twelve o'clock hills, Slieve Bearnagh and Cratloe hills. There are also some historic sites on the route. This walk is primarily for Active Agers (Over 50’s) but all are welcome. All walks are free with an optional donation which helps to maintain the East and Mid Clare Ways. We are walking the new Clootabonniv Bog loop in Connolly on the 13th of June at 7.30pm. This bog walk was developed by Connolly Tidy Village and is now a Looped Walk on the Mid Clare Way. This is a beautiful 5.5km easy to moderate loop starting from Carney's pub,  just outside Connolly village. Guided Walk For Heritage Week To Bohatch Dolman.

A 12km looped guided walk from Mountshannon Harbour to Bohatch Dolmen, along part of the East Clare Way walking route. This is a moderate walk with some steep ascents. Bring a packed lunch for a stop at the portal dolmen, which is said to have been the burial place for local chieftains over 3,000 years ago. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear and fluids.
