Active Agers Guided Walk – Quin
This is an easy flat route of circa 10.5km starting from Quin Community Hall on Thursday 30th May at 11.00am. The route has scenic views of the Twelve o'clock hills, Slieve Bearnagh and Cratloe hills. There are also some historic sites on the route. This walk is primarily for Active Agers (Over 50’s) but all are welcome. All walks are free with an optional donation which helps to maintain the East and Mid Clare Ways. Clare Walks Ramblers Guided Walk
We are walking the new Clootabonniv Bog loop in Connolly on the 13th of June at 7.30pm. This bog walk was developed by Connolly Tidy Village and is now a Looped Walk on the Mid Clare Way. This is a beautiful 5.5km easy to moderate loop starting from Carney's pub, just outside Connolly village. Clare Walks Guided Walk of Ballycuggaran Loop
Come along and enjoy a Guided Walk on Ballycuggaran, or Baile Ni Chogarain in Irish, which was homeland of the O’Cuggarans, an important family at the court of Brain Boru. This walk is 7km moderate to difficult walk and follows forest road, forest track and minor road through dense forest and open hillside on the shoulders of Feenlea Mountain and Crag. The first 2km of this walk is are uphill but the remaining 5km is downhill or flat, finishing at the Piper's Inn for the customary tea and scones.
