Guided Walk – Killaloe

In association with the College of Further Education, Scariff, we are holding a 5km guided walk through the historic town of Killaloe.

This walk will start at St. Flannan’s Catholic Church, Killaloe at 11am, and will follow the Canal to Tobermurragh and footpath to Beal Ború (Brian Ború’s Fort), located about 1km outside Killaloe.
“Researching Sacred Sites along the East Clare Way” has been run through the College of Further Education, Scariff  in 2021 & 2022 and Tobermurragh and Beal Ború were two sites that was researched  during this course, the findings of which will be presented at the site on the day.
