Guided Ramblers Walk – Killaloe

Our next Ramblers guided walk will take place next Thursday 28th March in Killaloe. As some might know, Killaloe was the location for the recent RTE series BLACKSHORE, so our Guided Blackshore walk will allow us to see some of the sites and visit some of the locations including the Lakeside Hotel.
We will start from Two Mile Gate (EIRCODE for the coffee shop there is V94 3V52). There are lots of parking spaces here – we will meet at the large Pier & Slipway at 11am.
The walk is 6km on footpath and boardwalk beside the lake.
We will finish at the Lakeside Hotel, where we will be treated to complimentary tea and scones, courtesy of the hotel.
Walkers have a choice at this point – you can either walk back to Two Mile Gate in your own time (4.5kms), or I can arrange to drive people back to their car at the start point.
